You can receive Mailfence notifications on your phone, but you cannot receive SMS messages in your Mailfence mailbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-provision-sms-wallet-credits-first\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Provision SMS wallet credits first<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Provision SMS wallet credits before using these features. The graph shows your included and additional SMS credits, how much you have used, and how much remains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">Unused SMS credits included in your monthly subscription do not carry over to the following month. Additional SMS wallet credits do not expire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-add-your-mobile-number\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add your mobile number<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To receive SMS notifications, add your mobile number to your personal data in Mailfence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use international format:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-list heroic-styled-list\" id=\"heroic-styled-list-\"><ol class=\"fa-ul\"><li>Start with the country code, without a leading <code>+<\/code> or <code>00<\/code>.<\/li><li>Follow it with the mobile number, omitting any domestic dialling prefix.<\/li><li>Do not include spaces.<\/li><\/ol><style>#heroic-styled-list- li:before{\n\t\t\t\t\t\t   background:#2070b8;\n\t\t\t\t\t\t   border-radius: 99%;\n\t\t\t\t\t\t   }<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, the international number <code>+43 664 1234567<\/code> becomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>436641234567<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use the same format when adding mobile numbers to your contacts. Make sure each number is labelled as a mobile phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-how-to-send-an-sms\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to send an SMS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can select a recipient from your address book or enter a mobile number directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-select-a-contact-from-the-message-composer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Select a contact from the message composer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Select the contact you want to send an SMS to. To select contacts from another workspace, use the Workspace drop-down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. Click OK to add the recipient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6. Write your message, then click Send.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can select multiple recipients. Make sure your mobile number is entered correctly in your personal data and that your account has available SMS credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-receive-sms-alerts-for-incoming-emails\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Receive SMS alerts for incoming emails<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mailfence can notify you by SMS when a new email arrives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">You can also use <strong>filters<\/strong> in the Messages tool to receive SMS notifications only for emails that match specific criteria, rather than for every incoming email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-other-messaging-options\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other messaging options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mailfence\u2019s SMS functionality also supports:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-sending-the-same-message-to-several-recipients-using-contacts-address-books-or-lists-in-the-messages-tool\">Sending the same message to several recipients using contacts, address books, or lists in the Messages tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-sending-the-same-message-through-a-combination-of-email-and-sms-from-the-messages-tool\">Sending the same message through a combination of email and SMS from the Messages tool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-troubleshooting\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-sms-functions-are-not-visible\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">SMS functions are not visible<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provision SMS wallet credits first, even if your paid plan includes an SMS quota.
