Using Mailfence Calendar on the Mobile App
Mailfence Calendar is also available on your phone. You can create, edit, and manage events, recurring appointments, and calendar settings directly from the Mailfence mobile app. For full details, see An Introduction to the Mailfence Mobile App.
Syncing Your Calendar with Other Apps
Mailfence Calendar supports standard protocols, so you can sync your events with the third-party calendar application of your choice.
CalDAV allows two-way, real-time synchronization of your calendar with desktop and mobile applications. CalDAV is available on all Mailfence plans, including the free plan. Compatible applications include:
- Apple Calendar (macOS and iOS)
- Mozilla Thunderbird (via TBSync or similar add-ons)
- DAVx⁵ (Android)
- eM Client
- Microsoft Outlook (via the CalDav Synchronizer plugin)
Your CalDAV configuration URL can be found in your account under Settings → Account → My connection settings.
ActiveSync lets you synchronize your calendar (along with email and contacts) directly with your smartphone’s built-in apps. ActiveSync is available for Entry plan members and above.
Public calendar access: you can publish your calendar via an iCal link so that anyone – even people without a Mailfence account – can view your events. This is useful for publishing a team schedule, an events page, or your availability.
Note: Mailfence Calendar offers only one personal calendar. However, there is an easy workaround if you want to manage different personal calendars. Use group calendars as additional calendars for personal use. You can learn more about Mailfence Groups here.
