Die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung <\/a>ist eine zus\u00e4tzliche Sicherheitsebene f\u00fcr Ihr Mailfence-Konto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um 2FA zu verwenden, m\u00fcssen Sie eine beliebige TOTP-Anwendung (Time-based One-Time Password)<\/a> auf Ihrem Smartphone installieren. Diese App generiert einen TOTP-Code, der sich nach einer bestimmten Zeitspanne \u00e4ndert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum ist 2FA wichtig?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung (2FA)<\/a> erh\u00f6ht die Sicherheit Ihres Mailfence-Kontos durch einen zus\u00e4tzlichen Sicherheitsschritt (zus\u00e4tzlich zum Passwort).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dieser zus\u00e4tzliche Schritt dient dazu, zu best\u00e4tigen, dass Sie der tats\u00e4chliche Benutzer des Mailfence-Kontos sind. Normalerweise werden Sie dazu aufgefordert, einen Code (TOTP) einzugeben, den Sie in einer Textnachricht oder \u00fcber eine Authentifizierungs-App erhalten. Alternativ dazu k\u00f6nnen Sie auch aufgefordert werden, Ihre Fingerabdr\u00fccke auf Touch-Ger\u00e4ten zu hinterlassen<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All diese Methoden bedeuten, dass jemand, der Ihr Passwort stiehlt, ohne die zweite Authentifizierung nicht auf Ihr Konto zugreifen kann.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bewahren Sie Ihre Mailfence-Wiederherstellungscodes und alle Backups Ihres Authenticators getrennt von Ihrem Hauptger\u00e4t auf. Authenticator-Apps f\u00fcr den Desktop funktionieren mit Mailfence, aber die Nutzung eines Authenticators auf einem separaten Mobilger\u00e4t sorgt in der Regel f\u00fcr eine bessere Trennung zwischen Ihrem Passwort und Ihrem zweiten Faktor.
